How do I change my Student ID (SID) number?
Students who have an incorrect Social Security number on file must bring their original Social Security card to the Office of Admissions and Records, Sea Aggie Center, to initiate a correction. Students who want to change their student ID number from their SSN to an assigned number also must come to the Records Office and sign a request to change their student ID number. A photo ID (student ID card or driver's license) is required.

myRecord system.
Where can I pick up a Class Schedule Booklet?

How do I get "forced" into a class?
Contact the department offering the class into which you want to be forced.
How do I withdraw from the University?
Come to the Office of Admissions and Records in the Sea Aggie Center to begin the withdrawal process, or call Susan Stakes at 409-740-4416.
How can I register In-Absentia?
Contact the department and ask them to create a section as an "in-absentia" section. Then, you can use web registration to register during approved registration periods. Registering after published deadlines will require approval by your academic dean.

Where do I apply for Graduation?
Students may obtain a letter of degree verification from the Office of Admissions and Records, Sea Aggie Center or contact Allison Buchtien at 409-741-4328. The National Student Clearinghouse serves as our authorized agent for providing degree verifications to third-party verifiers (background screening services, prospective employers, credit card companies, automobile dealerships, etc.) Contact the Clearinghouse at (703)742-4200, or at www.studentclearinghouse.org.
How do I receive a verification of my enrollment?
Students and/or parents may use the National Student Clearinghouse self-service web site at verifyenroll.tamu.edu to produce a Certification of Enrollment for the current or previous semesters. Your NEO username and password are required to log into this secure site. You may also come to the Office of Admissions and Records in the Sea Aggie Center to request a Certification of Enrollment or call 409-741-4328.
What is the Excess Credit Rule (formerly known as the 170-Hour Rule)?
The Excess Credit Rule defines limits on allowable credits for which students will be permitted to pay in-state tuition. Detailed information is available at Tuition Charged for Excess Credit Hours.
