Tuition and Fees - Q&A
Texas A&M University at Galveston is one of the least expensive universities in the United States. Three tuition rates apply - In-State, Out-of-State, and License Option. License Option students (Cadets in the Texas Maritime Academy) do not pay out of state tuition. A detailed rate schedule of the current tuition and fees is in the on-line catalog.  Also, students should look at the Financial Aid webpage, submit the FAFSA and look for scholarships that might apply.

When do we register? At the New Student Conference, held on several occasions during the summer preceding the Fall semester, students choose their housing options, meal plans, and other options such as parking and football tickets. After your Conference, the Bill can be determined.

What about Payment? Although subject to change, the bill must be paid on the Friday prior to the beginning of classes. No bills are mailed. Notification is sent to Students NEO e-mail account. Bills are only available online at: https://howdy.tamu.edu/cp/home/displaylogin Students will need their NEO e-mail Net ID and password to log into these websites.

You can pay in full by the due date. Or you can place the account on the installment plan
and pay first installment. This can be done online at https://howdy.tamu.edu/cp/home/displaylogin.

payments cannot be made if you are not on the installment plan.
