Summer and Fall 2012 Registration Schedule
Don't miss your opportunity to register for the best available courses!
When the current Course Schedule is available for online viewing, please login to “Howdy!” or search for a semester schedule. Be sure to click on the Summer 2012 – Galveston or Fall 2012 - Galveston to view TAMUG courses.
The electronic course schedule lists current course offerings, course availability, new course listings, designated classroom, etc. Be sure to visit this site often, as all information updates made to the courses will be posted here as they become available.
Before you attempt to preregister, ...
Please check that you have no holds (previously known as blocks.) Holds will prohibit pre-registration and many of these are critical to resolve, such as meeting with an advisor or submitting a transcript.
Academic advising has been proven critical to academic success, and we encourage all students to visit with their Faculty Advisor prior to pre-registering on the web or in their department.
Please note:
- Every eligible UNDERGRADUATE student will be assigned a start date for preregistration (times listed below.)
- GRADUATE students are not assigned a start date like undergraduate students. Graduate students, including G6 classification, may register any day the pre-registration system is available beginning April 9, 2012. Please check the pre-registration schedule.
- Beginning April 16, 2012 at 8 a.m. through August 31, 2012 at 5:01p.m., Fall registration will be open Monday – Friday (excluding holidays) 24 hours a day.
- If additional hours are approved by your department for you to have an overloaded schedule (registering for greater than 19 credit hours for undergraduates or 16 hours for graduate students), please fill out the overload request form (found here: http://www.tamug.edu/admrc/Records/forms/Overload.pdf ), bring the form into the Office of Admissions and Records (located in the Sea Aggie Center), ask to speak to a Records staff member, and we will assist you.
