Are you interested in becoming a Sea Aggie but want a chance to check things out for yourself? Our Fall and Spring Sea Aggie Previews offer you this chance. These events are designed for high school juniors and seniors just like you. Sea Aggie Preview offers opportunities to meet faculty and experience classroom learning. The Preview Schedule begins with registration at the Mary Moody Northen Center, Bldg 3004, between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. After the 9:30 a.m. opening welcome address, students and families break to sessions depending upon their interests. After lunch, another choice of break out sessions is followed by opportunities for Q and A and campus tours. The event ends about 4 p.m. University staff are available throughout the day for questions and personal visits.
The goal is to offer prospective students a glimpse of what it means to be an Aggie at Texas A&M University at Galveston (TAMUG). Preview offers prospective students an opportunity to meet current students, learn about our Corps of Cadets, witness Aggie traditions like Yell Practice and to participate in Questions & Answer sessions about TAMUG hosted by academic departments, Admissions, Student Life and Financial Aid.
Register Online for the Sea Aggie Preview. Cost is $25.00 (t-shirt and food) for students and additional guests or parents pay $15 (for food). Parents and guests are invited to attend all activities. No refunds will be available.
