Dr. Tammy Holliday came to Texas A&M University at Galveston in 1988 as a postdoctoral fellow in environmental chemistry. Her background was in aquatic toxicology and human health. Dr. Holliday transferred to the Research Management Office in 1996.
As Associate Vice President for Research Operations, she is currently responsible for the daily operations and pre- and post- award research management at TAMUG including general administration of proposals, grants and contracts, research compliance, RGSO funding, cost share and government mandated reports for research activities.
She has B.A. (cum laude) in Chemistry and Anthropology/Sociology from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in Lynchburg, Virginia and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology/Toxicology from West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia.
