TAMUG TutorTrac Instructions

An online tool for students to:

  • Check Tutor's scheduled times to see when they are available
  • Find out when/where Supplemental Instruction Sessions are held for a specific subject
  • Schedule an appointment with a tutor
  • Activate text reminders for scheduled appointments

To access TutorTrac:

  1. Log in to the Howdy portal
  2. Click on the My Record tab
  3. Find the Academic Support Services channel
  4. Select the TAMUG TutorTrac link

To CheckAvailabilities on TutorTrac:

For a Tutor or Supplemental Instructor

  1. Log in to TutorTrac
  2. Click on the Search Availability button                                                                                         
  3. To Search Tutor Availabilities, Choose a Center from the Center drop-down menu:                            Supplemental Instruction or Tutoring
  4. Select the course you need help in from the drop-down menu beside Section                                  NOTE: Only courses you are currently enrolled in will be available for selection
  5. Choose the date(s), Time period, and days of the week you would like to preview availabilities
  6. Click on the Search button to begin the query                  
  7. Hover over a specific time to reveal the building and room location                 
  8. Find a time that works with your schedule and then:
          Go to scheduled multi-purpose room in Atlantic or Pacific Hall at that time to meet with a Tutor
          OR attend an SI session to become involved in group study

To Schedule an Appointment:

With a Tutor

  1. Log in to TutorTrac
  2. Search for the Tutor Availabilities
  3. Select the time slot for the Tutor needed
  4. Click on the drop-down menu for Reason and select the reason for the visit                                         
  5. Save the appointment
  6. Show up for your scheduled appointment

NOTE: A reminder email will be sent to the address listed in your Bio on TutorTrac, please update the Bio information to reflect your most frequently checked email address.
