SAIL- Sea Aggies Involved in Learning

The Sea Aggies Involved in Learning (SAIL) Program is the Provisional Admission program at TAMUG. SAIL students are given a unique chance to gain full admission by taking summer courses and proving how well they can do academically. SAIL is a unique Living Learning Community (LLC) where select incoming students can live together in the Residence Halls, take classes together, and meet regularly to learn outside the classroom. The LLC aspect allows students to better acclimate to the college environment while developing the skills they need to be successful in higher education and transition smoothly to the Fall semester.

Students do not apply to SAIL, but are offered a seat in this gateway program.  SAIL students are granted provisional admission to TAMUG for the Summer II term. Upon successful completion of SAIL, students will no longer be considered provisional, but will be fully admitted to TAMUG.  It is important that SAIL students understand that the successful completion of the SAIL program is a prerequisite for being fully admitted to the university.
