PASS-Peer Assisted Study Sessions

TAMUG’s Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS)
for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT)
and
Graduate Record Examinations (GRE)

Listening

PASS aims to provide a learning atmosphere which differs from the traditional tutorial environment. PASS sessions are led by 'PASS Facilitators', students who have successfully passed the MCAT or GRE. The focus is on integrating the exam content (what to learn) with academic reasoning and study skills (how to learn).

A series of weekly study sessions, PASS is offered for students preparing for the MCAT or GRE to discuss difficult concepts and develop strategies for studying. The focus of each session will be determined by the needs of the group. Attendance is voluntary. Students that attend PASS regularly, will have a better understanding of exam content.
