SAIL NSC & Program Dates
SAIL students will reside in campus housing to get the full college-going experience. On Sunday, July, 6th between 1:00 -7:00 PM, students will check in with Residence Life in Pacific Hall to obtain their Summer II room assignment and move personal belongings into the Residence Hall. After the completion of Summer II Final Examinations, students will be allowed to move their belongings to their Fall Housing Assignments prior to check-out. The university will be officially closed for Independence Day on Friday, July 4th and re-opens on Monday, July 7th. If you have questions while we are out, please refer to the SAIL Frequently Asked Questions page.
All SAIL students will attend the New Student Conference (NSC) on July 7-8th, 2014. NSC check-in begins at 8:30 AM on Monday in the Sea Aggie Center (SAGC) Lobby (Bldg. 3026). Family members of SAIL students may also attend the NSC as long as they register online in advance at http://www.tamug.edu/nsc/Register.html
SAIL students, along with other new Freshmen, will be welcomed to Texas A&M University by Faculty and Staff, have a student identification card made, register for fall courses, and attend scheduled NSC sessions. On the second day of the NSC, SAIL students & families are invited to a special breakfast before attending the first day of their Summer II courses and NSC sessions in between. Students will continue to attend classes after the NSC through their Final Examinations on August 12-13th.
