Learn Outside the Classroom!
The Office of Academic Enhancement works with TAMUG Faculty and Staff to implement Learning Communities (LC's) so that students can learn outside the classroom. This program has been designed to aid students in meeting their collegiate goals while enforcing the idea of community and personal connections among peers, Faculty, and Staff. LC's integrate academic content with regular interactions between the students, Faculty, and Staff participating in these programs.
Live & Learn Together!
Living Learning Communities (LLC'S) are a residential clustering of students who share a particular interest in academics, social and cultural issues, activities, common themes, and courses. The goal is to create an environment that fosters academic excellence by extending the learning environment outside of traditional classrooms and times to include the Residence Life experience. We wish to immerse the student in the scholarly life by offering them the chance to self-select into an interdisciplinary community of students dedicated to their studies in all forms, standard and diverse.
