JAMP-Joint Admission Medical Program
Texas A&M University at Galveston is JUMPING for JAMP!
We are one of 31 Texas public institutions of higher education that are helping make medical school affordable for Texans!
Senate Bill 940 of the 77th Texas Legislature created the Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP), to be administered by the Joint Admission Medical Program Council. JAMP provides services to support and encourage highly qualified, economically disadvantaged students pursuing a medical education. Students selected for JAMP will receive undergraduate and graduate scholarships and summer stipends; JAMP also guarantees the admission of those students who are qualified to at least one participating medical school.
To learn more about JAMP, visit the JAMP web site at: http://www.utsystem.edu/jamp

If you are a freshman and have completed 27 hours of undergraduate credit during the freshman year with a 3.25 GPA or higher and 3.0 GPA in science courses with no more that 3 hours of AP credit counted toward this requirement and are eligible to receive a Pell Grant, you may complete the application to become a JAMP recipient.
