SAIL Checklist

  • Accept admission to the SAIL Program by Registering for the SAIL New Student Conference
    by June 7th at 5:00 PM

  • Determine TSI Compliance status,
    Take necessary exams, and
    Submit any scores needed for compliance or exemptions by June 7th

  • Take the Math Placement Exam online by June 7th

  • Obtain the Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination
    Provide evidence of vaccination to Admissions & Records by June 7th

  • Apply for summer financial aid if needed, submit the FAFSA by June 7th

  • Contact Residence Life to sign up for summer housing by June 7th

  • The Office of Academic Enhancement will contact you to Register for SAIL summer courses no later than June 10th. Be ready to answer questions about receiving summer financial aid and choosing a meal plan, parking permit, and campus mailbox.

  • Verify meal plan on your student bill under the My Finances tab in your HOWDY portal

  • Purchase summer parking pass in HOWDY under the My Record Tab

  • Print off summer course schedule under the My Record Tab in HOWDY

  • Purchase books for summer courses by July 1st

  • Apply for Fall Housing

  • Send Final High School Transcripts to TAMUG

  • Send Transcripts to TAMUG from college for any Dual Credit courses

  • Pay tuition & Fees online in HOWDY under the My Finances Tab by July 8th at 5:00 PM

 

SAIL Program Schedule

  • On Sunday, June, 30th between 1:00 -7:00 PM, check in at Residence Life in Pacific Hall,
    Move personal belongings into assigned room

  • On Monday, July 1st at 08:30 AM, attend SAIL NSC

  • On Tuesday, July 2nd begin attending CAEN 101 Course

  • Thursday, July 4th, No Class--Holiday

  • On Tuesday, July 9th, begin attending other Summer II Courses

  • On Friday, July 12th, Register for Fall 2013

  • August 12th, Last day of Classes

  • August 13-14th, Final Exams
