CAEN 101: Applications of Learning Theory (2 credit hours)

This course introduces useful skills and theories for university learning , as well as how your learning style can help you select a meaningful career . 

Course topics include:

  • self-reflection and understanding

  • development of good habits and decision-making

  • Learn how cognitive processes influence college learning

  • Enhance time management skills as well as goal-setting strategies

  • Increase metacognitive, self-regulated learning, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

This course is highly recommended for entering Freshmen and open for enrollment to all students in the fall semester. All students participating in the SAIL Program are required to take it during the summer as a condition of their enrollment.
