Coastal Ecology ages 12-15

This camp is designed to provide longer hours in the field and laboratory (with less recreation). Many hours of field work are required.

Learn about the marine ecology of the Galveston Bay area. Explore the sandy beach, salt marsh, jetty, and bay ecosystems. Have fun bird watching, swimming, and dissecting sharks and turtles. Experience what it is like to be a marine biologist for a day working behind the scenes of the Aquarium at Moody Gardens. Go dolphin watching on a cruise across Galveston Bay and fish for flounder or trout.
