Aggie Muster
“Muster will never change. It will survive, unscathed by time, because it is a tradition enriched with the devotion of one Aggie to the other. The reverence, the silence, it's all part of the notion that Aggies never leave their roots, nor are they forgotten by their own.”
— Pat Pearson '83
The 2011 Galveston County Aggie Muster, Texas A&M University’s traditional Roll Call of the Absent, is set for April 21 in the TAMUG Gymnasium.
The names of former Texas A&M students from Galveston County and TAMUG Sea Aggies who passed away in 2010 and 2011 are listed below.
Muster — now observed in 300 locations around the world — is a time for Aggies to celebrate the lives of their fellows who are no longer with us and to reflect times spent with these and other Aggies who became part of our lives in the Texas A&M family.
Like its national and international counterparts, the ceremony at TAMUG will include the Roll Call, a 21-gun salute and the playing of Silver Taps.
