Eight story building

This animation shows seismic behavior of a eight story steel reduced beam section (RBS) moment frame building. The building is designed according to the latest design specifications. The blue colors indicate initiation of yielding in the members, while the blue triangles indicate initiation of yielding in the reduced beam section. The yellow rectangle represent Panel Zone. Detailed illustration of the analytical model at beam-column connection is shown below the animation.
