"Always choose kindness"
Get To Know Debra Maceo

What in your life drew you to your current field of study?

I was always active growing up and I chose a double major in college, Physical Education/Health. After my undergrad dance classes and with the guidance of my mentor, Dianne Martin Baker, I knew the Creative Arts/Dancing were for me. I've been teaching ever since.

What do you hope your students gain from studying or working with you?

I hope that through movement, they have found a part of themselves they never knew existed. There is a freedom that comes from creative movement: a confidence. I believe that if the soul can dance, then the body will follow.

What are you passionate about in your personal life?

To be a better Christian every day of my life.
