After graduation in 1994 went to work for Biehl & Co. vessel agency for 2 years.  Left Biehl & Co. and went to work for American Eagle Tankers as a Vessel Operations Executive and later Chartering Executive performing duties such as operating and lightering and chartering of Aframax crude oil tankers to import crude oil into the gulf and east coast for all major oils companies.  After two years with American Eagle Tankers I moved to Southern California and was hired by Marine Terminals Corporation.  We are the largest contract stevedore and terminal operating company on the west coast.  I started as a terminal Superintendent gaining experience in all areas of terminal operations and stevedoring.  Currently I am the night operations manager at Berth 126 in the port of Los Angeles.  We are one of the largest multi-user facilities on the west coast with customers such as Yang Ming Line, China Shipping Line, Trans Pacific Line, K-Line, Cosco, Zim, CMA, and Norasia and are continuing to grow.We have several openings for superintendent trainees and we are very interested in those with any industry related experience.  If you are interested, please contact me at beno@mtcorp.com.
