Moved to Houston for a year after graduating. I got into restaurant
management, which moved me up to Denver. I worked for a company that
specialized in large commercial and residential saltwater reef tanks.
From that, I networked my way into oil & gas exploration where I gained

for a large radiology group, maintaining and expanding their "wide

Wow, what a blast form the past this has been. It’s amazing what you
can find on the web when you’re bored, isn’t it? Anyway, I spent the
last seven years working for Noble Drilling in Brazil aboard the Paul
Wolff. After a difference in opinions regarding future promotions
(yes, that’s the nice way to say it), I gave that up and decided to
start over. Now I’m working for Diamond on the Worker in Mexico. Moved
to League City about 4 years ago. As usual, I’ve gone in a different
direction that the rest of the group…no family and/or significant
other. Why, you ask? That’s easy: I’m greedy!

Whoop! Hey fellow Aggies. I hope everything is going great. If youd
like to run into me for old times sake, your best shot would be to
go to the Texas Renaissance Festival in Plantersville each Fall. The
festival runs every weekend in Oct. and the first two weekends in
Nov. if youve never been, youre really missing out. If
you havent been recently, you probably havent heard about
the later hours and the fireworks show each night. Im usually
at the Guttenburg Press working the foundery or press; Michelle is
usually making paper. Drop by; say hi; learn a few historic facts;
but especially remember to get an Indulgence!

“Will graduate in May from the University of Hawaii with an
MA in Marine Ecological Anthropology and a Graduate Certificate in
Ocean Policy, combined they make a marine ecology degree that includes
people as the major organism in the environment.
My graduate work focuses on coral reef ecology; traditional marine
resource conservation and knowledge (accuracy and applicability);
environmental education; marine resource management, particularly
community based marine protected areas; and finally the ecology of
marine turtles and how worldwide cultural attitudes toward them may
be transferred to coral reef ecosystems as a whole.
So far I have had three papers published --- yippee!
I currently work with the NMFS Marine Turtle Research Program Stranding
Response Team and teach at the Institute for Cultural Ecology, and
environmental field school where I take students all over the Pacific
to learn about cultural ecology (culture and peoples place in the
ecosystem) and marine ecology."
